Fasting is something humans have done for 1,000's of years up until the past 100 years where eating every day has become a social norm and people are considered anorexic if they don't eat for more than a couple days which is ridiculous.

When we were hunters and gathers our bodies were use to going days without food because we didn't have grocery stores or restaurants, until we traded that lifestyle for convenience and comfort.

The biggest concern bodybuilders have is weight loss.

But if you think about it, the health benefits are far greater then worrying about losing a couple pounds which you will most likely gain back after the fast. But the whole goal of water fasting is to clean out the toxins from your body and do a complete reset of your system so you can function at your whole potential.
