Selling Things
When it comes to selling things online, it is important to chose the right options. There are 3 things that make a solution interesting:
Costs

Ease of implementation
In general you should focus on easy implementation and sell then optimise later. Here are some considerations when it comes to payment gateway implementation:

* Clickbank, Paypal, Stripe, Gumroad & Fastspring all have built in shopping carts that make it very easy to implement without code
* Paypal and Stripe both have API's that plug into most 3rd party shopping carts
* Clickbank has a built in affiliate program which is awesome if you know people that can promote you

Buying Things

* Paypal has prohibitive currency change rates
* Credit cards typically charge a few % plus fix fees, it's really inneficient
